Bringing up the rear, so to speak, is The Reverse Cowgirl. Writer, photographer, and artist Susannah Breslin's blog supplies a rare commodity online: smart writing about sex and sexuality. Long before Elliot Spitzer made the question "why do men pay for sex?" a suitable topic for mainstream media roundtables, Breslin was writing honestly and passionately about the subject, long ago having adopted the role of a "sex reporter." The blog currently features "Letters from Working Girls" and "Letters from Johns," an online collection of purportedly real letters from sex workers and their customers. Perhaps best of all, The Reverse Cowgirl consists mostly of sex-related writing, not pictures or photographs, making it just barely suitable for viewing at work unless your boss is really nosey.
Sample Reverse Cowgirl Post: I was wondering if I was, in fact, to some degree sane, or at least saner, these days, seeing as, you know, I no longer wanted to die every minute of every day, and so, what the hey, maybe it was time to write a sane definitive essay on my experiences in Porn Valley. Seeing as I don't have much to say about anything else in the universe, except porn.
